Stephen is a lawyer, company director, philanthropist and author. He is the co- founder of national law firm Shine Lawyers. Stephen founded Tojohage Productions as a vehicle to tell meaningful stories that not only entertain but make a difference, especially civil justice and personal interest stories. He recognises that film is a way that social justice can be pursued for people who don’t have a voice.
Stephen was Executive Producer on the feature film Don’t Tell, adapted from his book by the same name and based on the Toowoomba Prep sex abuse trial. Don’t Tell won the Audience award for Best Film at the Newport Beach Film Festival in California and was released in cinemas across Australia in May 2017.
